Pick a Build. Add what you need. See the total before you commit.
Three Builds, eight optional modules, an hourly retainer. Everything is priced in Euros including 25% Swedish VAT; EU B2B clients have VAT reverse-charged on the invoice. Half due at kickoff, half on shipped, by Stripe Checkout or by SEPA bank transfer.
Eight questions we hear at most kickoffs.
If your question is not here, write to us — the answer will be in the first reply.
§ 01 Where are you based and how do we meet? +
The studio is in Täby, north of Stockholm. The majority of our work is delivered remotely — most clients never meet us in person — but we hold two days a month in a co-working space in central Stockholm and clients are welcome there. For Atelier Builds with clients further afield we plan a one-day in-person kickoff somewhere in Sweden.
§ 02 What stack do you actually use? +
For marketing sites: semantic HTML, modern CSS (logical properties, container queries, layered cascades), and a small layer of vanilla JavaScript or Alpine.js. Static deploys go to Cloudflare Pages or Netlify. For applications: PHP 8.2+, Node 20+, or whatever stack the client already operates. PostgreSQL by default. Hosting on Hetzner, Cloudflare, or the client's preferred provider.
§ 03 Do you use AI to write production code? +
No. We use AI for transcripts of calls, research summaries, and the boring administrative scaffolding that lets us spend more time writing code by hand. Every line of production code that ships is written by one of the four people in the studio and read by at least one other person before it is deployed.
§ 04 Do you sign NDAs? +
Yes. Send us yours or we will send you ours; either way we sign before the first paid discovery call. For especially sensitive engagements we can also work under a separate legal entity if your procurement team prefers it.
§ 05 How are payments structured for a Build? +
Foundation Builds are paid in full at kickoff. Structure and Atelier Builds are paid in two tranches — fifty percent at kickoff, fifty percent on shipped — by Stripe Checkout or by invoice with bank transfer to a Swedish IBAN. We are F-skatt-registered and our invoices include Swedish VAT or use the EU reverse-charge mechanism as appropriate.
§ 06 What happens if the schedule slips? +
If the slip is on our side, the engagement letter caps our additional invoiceable time. If the slip is on the client's side — late responses, missing materials, a change in scope — the calendar moves and we invoice for the additional time at the hourly rate published on the pricing page. Either way the schedule is in writing from week one.
§ 07 Can you take over a project that another studio started? +
Sometimes. We do a paid two-hour audit first to read what is there and write down what we would and would not pick up. Around half the time we recommend rebuilding the parts that matter rather than continuing the existing work; the audit fee is credited against the engagement if you go ahead with us.
§ 08 Who owns the code at the end? +
You. From the engagement letter onwards everything we write is your property: the code, the design files, the runbook, the deployment configuration. We keep the right to mention the work in our own portfolio with your written approval.
